Take in some pro indoor soccer

The Rochester Lancers men's professional indoor soccer team takes on the Syracuse Silver Knights at 7 p.m. Saturday at the Blue Cross Arena. The newly formed team features several players familiar to Rochester soccer fans, including Doug Miller, the all-time leading scorer for the outdoor Rhinos. Last week, the Rochester Lancers fell to the Missouri Comets as more than 6,500 fans took in the first home game of the team's first season in the Major Indoor Soccer League. The MISL is partnering with the United Soccer Leagues, to which the Rhinos outdoor team belongs, to operate the indoor league. In a pre-game ceremony Saturday, the Lancers will introduce the 2011 Rochester Lancers Wall of Fame inductees—including Pat Dinolfo, Tony Pullano, Claude "The Cat" Campos, Dragan "Don" Popovic and Branko Segota.
