Good, clean fun
With names like 5-h8-5s and Rottenchesters, the home teams in Roc City Roller Derby don’t sound very nice. But oh, they are. Their next bout, Sept. 11, will raise money for the Badge of Honor Association and the Rochester Firefighters’ Benevolent Association, which help the families of police officers and firefighters. And as always, the league will collect sample-size toiletries for Sample Soap. The bout goes down at 7 p.m. in the Dome Center; doors open at 6. Visit rocderby.com for all the details.
